mdee
I've narrowed my search down to these 2 Mix control surfaces for Logic Pro X but I'm in need of some guidance. My heart says to buy the Faderport 16 with the added faders and it's ergonomic look. However my head says the XTouch is made for Logic and has more bells and whistles especially for editing. Is there anyone here who has spent some time on both of these units? If so, please share your thoughts.
Ploki
if you wanna go cheap i can sell you my Emagic Logic Control. It's like Xtouch but grey and 150€. edit: ooh.. you're in florida. shipping is bollocks. anyway, my vote goes for Xtouch. Not a fan of new fader ports, you cant remove those front flanges and the rubber buttons feel wierd
pranaearth
Faderports are really designed with Studio One in mind. Yes, it can work with Logic. The Xtouch is fully MCU compliant, with all the bells and whistles and niggles that the standard comes with. I have one and the build quality is fantastic. It’s a great match with Logic. pranaearth
Great! Behringer has a forum for the XTouch. Past discussions have covered many questions a first time owner might have.
