mmmmwhatchasaymmmm
Hi! I wonder how you can make a MIDI bass slide in Logic Pro X?
cleamon
Pitch wheel CC if the instrument supports it.
Solution Eriksimon Posted June 5, 2019 Solution Share Posted June 5, 2019 Some EXS instrument electric basses have slide samples on velocities 124 to 127 (Aggressive fretless, fretless, Liverpool, Motown, Slapped electric, Subby) If they don't and you want a fretted slide then the pitchwheel isn't right, as that will be stepless. You have to make short successive midi notes by hand. Can be a bit of work, but the advantage is that you can control every aspect of the slide, pitch, span, timing, dynamics, etcetera.
