fossage
Hi all. I have a sample where I just want to use the right channel of the stereo track, but I want to convert it to mono so it plays through both speakers. Anyone have an idea of how I would go about this? Thanks in advance.
Rev. Juda Sleaze
Ii don't know if it's the most efficient way, but I'd bounce a split stereo PCM, then put the channel you want into a mono audio track.

45rpm
There's another way to do this that you might find easier. At the bottom of the channel strip, there's a format button that indicates mono or stereo (etc). Click-hold that button until you get a menu. Now select Left or Right. This is explained on pp. 264-265.

Gusiusiusi
Fully pan your stereo channel to whichever side (Left or Right) you want to hear. On Output, select any Bus. Make the selected bus Mono.
David Nahmani
Fully pan your stereo channel to whichever side (Left or Right) you want to hear.On Output, select any Bus. Make the selected bus Mono. Easier: click-hold the input format of the original channel strip, and choose Left or Right. No need panning, no bussing.
