caitiffchoir
This doesn't seem to be such an issue with midi regions, but is a constant bother with audio regions Very often when I clip or otherwise change the length of an audio region (scissor tool, marquee tool, etc) the resulting clip length is off by just a hair. For example cutting a region in half which is 2 beats long might result in a region with a length of 1.0.0.0., with that last "." beaing just enough to throw things out of phase when looping or duplicating via cmd+R. Is anyone else's Logic experience plagued by this?? needless to say, it's crazy annoying... As always, thanks for any insight in advance. caitiffchoir
Thanks for the post Atlas Where do you find that feature? And do you recommend I disable it?
David Nahmani
You're correct, 1 0 0 0. (dot) is longer than 1 0 0 0 (not dot). The dot indicate that the region is any number of samples longer than 1 0 0 0 but still shorter than 1 0 0 1. You can cut your region to exactly 1 0 0 0 with the marquee tool.
