Lautarese
Hello, I'm experiencing my Logic software instruments changing to completely different software instruments while using the small score window to either edit notes, transpose or in conjunction with the step keyboard. For example the Indie Kit Live drums morph into a type of synth drum. The Highland Bagpipe Ensemble morphs into an accordion. If I go to the library and try to re-enter the correct software instrument for the track in question, it does no good. To fix it I've had to create another SI track and designate the instrument I want and then drag the track I was working on to this new track. It only seems to occur when the score window is open. It's not tied into an excessive number of SI or audio tracks because it's happened when I've only had just four tracks going. Thanks. Atlas007
Which version of Logic are you using? Could it be some key commands error/mismatches?
Lautarese
I'm using Logic 9 and when the problem occurs I'm not executing any key commands. I'm playing notes on the keyboard. Thanks.
Atlas007
Which version of Logic 9? Is this happening on specific project(s) or to all of them?
Lautarese
Logic 9.1.7 and it happens on any project Thanks Lautarese
Atlas007
Why not update to the current version, which is v.9.1.8? Also, you might need to reset your pref files...
Lautarese
I'm hesitant to do that because of all the preferences I've set plus key commands would be a pain in the *#@ to reset. Have you heard of this problem from others? Thanks Lautarese
gdoubleyou
You can save your key commands, by exporting them. Do you have any Midi devices connected?
