  1. Probably user error, my apologies. I checked a few ES1 patch settings and realised Int via Vel amount was causing the issue. Having the issue in ES1: Issue fixed in ES1: Thanks.
  2. Hi, This is a strange one but I've started messing around with ES1 and i've put some simple automation on a few bars - nothing special but I'm experiencing audio glitches / audio cuts. If I play the notes on the keyboard they sound fine, if I remove the automation, the notes play fine too. It seems to be automation causing the issue here. When I automate the cut off whilst playing some notes, i get the same audio glitches too. If I duplicate the track to another one and use ES2 and put some automation down, its fine and I tried the same with Diva and again that's fine. It only seems to be ES1 that's causing this issue. I've been experiencing this with 10.7.9 and 10.8. Has anyone had any issues with ES1 and automation? Thanks, Simon
  3. I thought it was working using the apple dongle but the problem reoccurred again. It seems to be random, it can be the first note that autosampler triggers or it could be later on in the sampling process. I have some options that I’m going to try: 1. With the same setup try a different synth (as Atlas007 suggested). 2. Test using the Fireface midi ports, bypassing the MOTU micro lite. 3. Use an old usb-midi adapter cable. 4. Use an old MacBook Pro I have (early 2013) but I need to work out if it runs a version of logic with autosampler (I think it was introduced in 10.5?).
  4. Well this is the weird thing. I did another test bypassing all hubs and using an Apple TB/usb-c to USB3 dongle on the MacBook Pro then connecting the MOTU Micro Lite but I still get the same results. When it happens the audio stops and just generates this waveform.
  5. It's still happening, tried a bunch of different USB hubs with the Micro Lite but I still get the same results. Shame, Auto Sampler is a really great idea but for some reason I'm not getting any good results from it.
  6. I think it's sorted. I'm using a Motu MicroLite that was connected to my USB Overhub, but if I bypass it completely and connect the MicroLite to a USB port on the Macbook pro, Auto Sampler performs as expected. I think the Overhub is probably the culprit.
  7. Logic Pro x 10.7.4 macOS 12.6 / MacBook Pro m1 Hi, I’m trying to record using auto sampler from an external synth but halfway through the sampling process, it stops playing audio but shows a strange wave form. You can see from the screenshots that the audio appears as expected and then randomly audio stops and you see this waveform being generated. I tried it with a few different synths but I get the same results. The recorded wav files are blank audio files when you play them through the finder. Any thoughts?
  8. Seriously, Catalina or Big Sur only for 10.6.0? Man that sucks.
  9. David, in an APFS configuration with a Machintosh HD partition and a data partition, can you expand those partitions easily into the free space location?
  10. Thanks all for the feedback, I’m hoping I can downgrade it from Catalina to Mojave. So I’ll rebuild it with only one partition.
  11. Thanks for getting back. So where would you normally keep all the audio work? In Documents?
  12. Hi, I’m waiting for the delivery of a new Mac Mini with an internal 1TB SSD drive. Previously on my MacBook Pro I would split the internal SSD keeping MacOS on a smaller partition and all my logic projects etc on the bigger partition, a bit like when you had two hard drives (one for MacOS and the other for Audio). But I’m just wondering if it’s ok now to keep logic projects and audio samples in your main partition where macOS is installed, considering ssds are fast? Cheers Simon
  13. Looks like Apple have replaced the screen shot with an older version of Logic, interesting.
  14. I did say in the 90 day free trial thread that I wondered if a new release was coming.. I guess I might be right. I really hope they fix some of the outstanding bugs and some of the automation issues.
  15. It does state on the original link I included that it will take a few days for it to update the Apple website.
