  1. Is anyone else here using a ROLI Seaboard? I think a few of my issues - such as this one - might be linked to it
  2. I'm only now having this issue after having updated to Logic 10.5
  3. I've found another way around this issue that still allows for arrangement track use; rather than using track automation, I've converted everything to region automation. This ties the automation inextricably to regions so it can't get disconnected in the shuffle. Painting in clips on the master channels (which seem to be the main culprits) allows for this on those channel types as well. For anyone wanting to use this work around on a project with existing automation, select tracks and go to the Menu -> Mix -> Convert Automation -> Convert All Track Automation to Region Automation.
  4. When moving arranger tabs around, automation on the master track doesn't want to move along with them correctly. Sometimes it over compensates, sometimes is seems to not move at all. I've tried creating clips where the automation is which seems to work sometimes, or it's just a coincidence. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks
  5. I wasn't using any automation. It was just inserted on a summing track stack.
  6. Latency compensation is set to "All"
  7. Have the same problem on a track stack that's submixing a (producer) drum kit designer. Inserting the LP EQ on the track stack incurs the full 52ms latency that should be compensated for. As for the manual stating that one should use this EQ purely for mastering... that's pretty flawed. Any artifacts resulting from an IIR EQ will make their way to the mastering stage - specifically the phase shift cause by an IIR HPF which ruins your headroom by shifting early harmonic peaks into each other, resulting in more volume but no change in perceived loudness. This will then stress subsequent compressors/limiters/dynamic processes right through to the mastering stage. Also, if an IIR HPF is used on a snare bottom for instance, it will push the fundamental/harmonics out of phase with the snare top and anything else (Overheads) that it's been phase matched with, so LP EQs are very much mixing tools.
  8. Has anyone discovered other (more recent?) factors that can cause this problem? I un-hid all hidden tracks and am still unable to delete the arrangement marker. Thanks!
