I.M. Groot
What's the best way to bounce three tracks into one? I don't want to bounce all the tracks in the project: I just want to combine these three tracks into one. Thanks!
Solution Atlas007 Posted November 16, 2017 Solution Share Posted November 16, 2017 One easy way that come to mind, would be to solo the tracks you wish to merge, bounce the project, then import that newly created audio file into your project on its new audio track. Alternately, you could set the outputs of those three tracks to an Aux. Or create a summing stack would yield fairly the same result... Atlas007
I should have said solo the track's assigned channelstrip, although the track's solo button is just a remote control of its assigned channelstrip counterpart... Anyway, essentially I mean this:
I.M. Groot
Thanks Atlas! This technique seems to work. At first I thought I had to bounce the entire project with the three tracks solo'd, but now I see that if the three tracks are solo'd and highlighted, Bounce>Project doesn't actually bounce the entire project, it just bounces those local track regions, which is much faster. Thanks for your help!
David Nahmani
Yes, bouncing the project will bounce whatever you're hearing when you press play, so if you solo some tracks and hear only those tracks, that's what you'll bounce! Good to hear you got it working as desired.
