I keep getting random overloads all the time, can't figure out what is causing them. will happen on super slim sessions, and bigger ones I WONT get the errors.

also, I left my computer for a couple hours and when I came back the fans are going nuts and when I woke the computer up and checked activity monitor, this is what I got (attached pic). notice that the cpu has high usage of logic but logics cpu meter is barely moving (also in pic).

any ideas?

thx!

I had an issue with a Safari extension causing my OS to cook like that with the fans. But didn't show on the Logic resources.

So at least it looks like your issue is within Logic. If Atlas's suggestion doesn't help then it may be a case of disabling plugins to eradicate suspects as something is utilising CPU when you're not at the screen too.
