Logic Pro X compatibility with Yosemite 10.10.5 (Early 2008 iMac)

Trying to figure out which version of Logic Pro X would be the safest bet for Yosemite 10.10.5 on a 2008 iMac (4 GB Ram).

Garageband 10.1.4 works fine, but am concerned that an install may overload the CPU and ruin the computer. I also cannot upgrade my operating system. With the fact that it's a 2008 iMac I worry that it may be too much for the hard drive to handle. Out of curiosity, I am also wondering which older version of Logic would be suited to this situation despite unavailability in the app store. Unfortunately upgrading my desktop and hardware is not possible either, so I have to manage with what I have.

Let me know your solutions and suggestions!

Logic Pro X 10.2.4 is the latest version that still works on Yosemite. I have it on my ancient (2006) iMac. It sort of works, but only for modest sessions. I use it as a "tape recorder": it can handle lots of audio tracks and a few MIDI tracks with Logic stock plugins, EXS24, ES2, Ultrabeat, Channel EQ, compressor, Chorus, Ensenble, ONE Space Designer (as a send effect), just be very aware which plugins to use (so avoid the CPU hogs).
