Culljosh
Hello! Just wondering if there's a way to disable the 'Rim Shot' or 'Side Stick' MIDI trigger in Logic's Liverpool+ Kit? When using my Alesis electronic drum kit the rim gets in the way a lot. I can see that my middle snare is tracking in under C1 and the snare rim is under D1 in the Piano Roll, I just cannot track down where to remove D1 from the equation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Cheers!
Solution fuzzfilth Posted July 9, 2020 Solution Share Posted July 9, 2020 I'm not sure about C1 and D1 triggering the Snare & Rim Shot. Traditionally, C1 triggers the Kick, D1 is Snare and E1 is Rim Shot. Anyway, put a Scripter MIDI plugin into the DKD channel, and from Scriper's presets choose Drum Kit Designer Remapper and change the note triggering the Rim Shot from E1 to something your kit does not send. Culljosh
There is an odd thing happening now after setting the rimshot to another note, and that's my hi-hat is now staying closed 100% of the time. No remapping was done to it and when I remove the scriptor it'll work fine.
Culljosh
I did set hi-happening via to Off. It was set to modulation when first opening scriptor and still just closed hats.
Culljosh
FOUND the issue! Thanks to Jordie Torres on this post. viewtopic.php?t=127481 I had to adjust articulation in the script to 0 from 1.
