Sustain Pedal Editing without scrub bar getting in the way

Fri Apr 09, 2021 9:45 am

Is there a way to edit the length of the pedal sustains without the scrub bar popping up at the bottom, right where the handles are to grab the adjusters for the sustain pedal? I often need to do a number of quick edits to move the sustain points, and it is ridiculously slow with the scrubber bar always popping up and then having to wait for it to go away before I can edit.

Have you tried editing from the Event List editor instead?

You could just give the scrollbar their own space (by choosing to always show them) so they don't pop up on top of the automation area: Apple menu > System Preferences > General.
