Kevinnnn
Hi, i'm using Logic live to playback percussion and Fx tracks. Is is possible to stop logic after each song automatically? Alsow, can anybody tell me where to find the midi device list? So i can delete the midi device that are not longer in use? Thnx!
Solution David Nahmani Posted June 8, 2021 Solution Share Posted June 8, 2021 Yes, you can use Meta Event #52 (Quick Guide to Logic's Meta Events) to stop playback at any point in the song. Your MIDI devices should be listed in the MIDI Environment (Window > Open MIDI Environment), usually in the "MIDI Instr." layer (click the Layer pop-up menu to access it) . Atlas007
Meta event #52 will stop Logic's playback when the playhead reaches it. For the MIDI devices, my first stop would be in the AudioMidiSetup app. OTOH, if you are referring to the MIDI controller, I would check in Logic's Controller Setup window. Audio MIDI Setup won't affect that behavior. Make sure you do what I suggested instead.
