fuzzfilth
Duplicate the Track+Regions, then on Channel Strip 1 do a long click on the stereo/mono button. Repeat for Channel Strip
ValliSoftware
If you want two tracks with each left and right only, bounce track in place with the pan all the way to the right, then all the way to the left. You can do what fuzzfilth mention at the end to get both tracks as mono, yet they remain left and right as audio files.
David Nahmani
To truly convert the stereo file to two mono files, here's a tutorial: Fastest and easiest way to convert stereo file to mono If you want two tracks with each left and right only, bounce track in place with the pan all the way to the right, then all the way to the left. If you're going to use a workaround like that then that one is even better: Easiest way to split stereo tracks to two mono tracks SOLVED

Now we're getting somewhere! Not ideal but getting close to it. Thanks Jakob.

omgflow
I don't see an option to set inputs left and right. What am I missing? All I have is "input 1". Thanks!
