DuncanKillin Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Hi All I have just received Rare from Eastwest ( a bargain I might add....Was $499...now $20...in their clearance sale). I have installed them in the appropriate folder Application Support>Logic>Sampler Instuments>Giga. Logic sees most of the files and converts them fine to EXS. but there are a handful of sounds it is not seeing.Typically these are the ones I wanted the most. Is there any other way to get Logic to see them.I've tried menu refresh,restart Logic, restart Mac....moved the files within the Giga file.No dice. Any suggestions would be more than welcome. Duncan Thanks Duncan for the tip about the "Rare Instruments" clearance sale. $20 is a great price for these samples. Still available when I checked today 6/21/07 http://www.soundsonline.com/Clearance-Sale-c-51.html I was able to convert everything by just shortening the file names that EXS wasn't seeing. Mark R. The problem is, when I loaded the samples into the exs24, it tells me insufficient priveldges resault code 5000. I tried to repair permissions but to no avail. Can anyone help me out?
