Midi to audio?

Hi!

 

My question is how you "transform" a midi region into an audio region? Say I want to use some effects on a midi recording I would have to transform it into audio. How is that possible?

First of all is it an Aidio Instrument or is it a Midi TRack?

 

If it's a Midi Track Region, you might just want to Solo the region, and do a live bounce.

Hi

 

Solo the midi track you want to transform in audio and bounce it. After that all you have is import the created audio file to your project.

If you use Audio Instrument tracks you can apply plug-ins just as on an Audio Track. That's the beaty of AIT's

 

Otherwise: File-> export region as audio file

Check the box "add to audio window" and press apple-9 to open it
