Myron
I have a large piano library loaded and the samples cut off before I release the notes. It hasn't reach the max voice allocation, so I don't know how to solve the problem. Any thoughts?
Myron
The library is called "Black Grand" from Sampletekk. It sounds great but it gives me issues when it cuts off. Thanks for your help.
arafel
Sounds like the samples are not set to loop (when notes are sustained), or that there are no loop points set for the sustain. Open your Exs instrument and check a few samples to see, You can try manually setting your loop points on a sample to see if that helps. An easy solution, would be to adjust your Amp envelope to fade out the note before the sample actually ends... therefore avoiding the problems with the sample endind before the note. Or... shorten all your notes. Similar Result, but with a slightly dif results.
Justin-Ch
I'm sure a pro sample library like this will be properly looped etc, but something in your EXS isn't responding to that. Did you just load the samples into an empty EXS yourself? Is there not a ready made EXS instrument file that came with the samples? Are all the zones in the EXS set to One Shot? This will over-ride any looping settings (I think!?!)
David Nahmani
Which library!?
LennieJ
Check that Virtual Memory is on for the EXS. It kinda sounds like all the samples are not loading, & 6 gigs a samples is quite a few for one instrument. BTW how much ram do you have?
