Click Commands List — CC

Hello, Im new to LPH and Logic X

I would like to compile a list of what Im calling Click Commands, they don’t seem to be listed in the key commands list and some seem elusive, so if anyone could help me out and add to the list that would be cool.

(Note : i always list “shift" first cause of the layout on the mac keyboard, I realize in the KC window the order is different)

Here is what I got so far, these are great time savers and super handy:

option - click hold - drag --

— to copy ( works with Automation as well, even from track to track! )

Note : Release mouse click before you release option

shift control ( In Automation view, hovering over automation lane ) —

— cursor becomes Automation Curve Tool

Note : shift control click an Automation curve to straighten it out ( super handy )

shift option command - double click lower part of Region

— Splits the Region in equal segments based on the distance of the edit point, to the beginning of the Region

Note : The secondary pointer tool selected must be the Marquee Tool

command - click Locators ( when Cycle Mode is Enabled )

Turns Locators from Cycle to Skip Mode

Note : Repeating CC sets Locators back to Cycle Mode ( so I call this a Toggle )

shift - click Locators --- Lengthen or shorten by desired bars.

Note : Edits left of centre ( of Cycle Range ) are applied to start, and right of centre are applied to end.

shift control - click inside Region and drag outside of Region ( left or right side ) — Add Fade ( in or out ) to Region ( Audio Only )

control - click Solo button in Mixer ( Wont work in Arrangement Window )

Activates Solo Safe Mode - ( red line appears crossing out the solo button. ) I use on Bass and Drums a lot , then anything you solo can be isolated with Bass and Percussion along with it.

Some I have found by accident some through LPH Forums, if you could add some cool obscure click command plz let me know :!:

I will try to build and post a comprehensive list of key mouse click functionality. Thanks again WANABE
