AlanH Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Popping sounds with August Foerster Instr I can't seem to figure this one out. I love the piano sounds that come with K2, esp under the Kontakt 2 Library -> 03 Grand Pianos -> 02 August Foerster folder. What I can't figure out is why whenever I load the instruments from this folder up they click and pop no matter what. No other instrument that I've used in K2 does this. I'm using Logic 7.2 on a MacPro with dual 3gHz speed and 2 GB ram. I know Logic and Kontakt don't get to hog all of the ram, but aside from the significantly larger memory size that these pianos take up (130 MB vs. 10-15 MB usual) I don't know what's causing it, and more importantly how to resolve this. David Nahmani Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 You need to monitor CPU, disk and RAM activity. System > Activity, and /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor will help you.
