jessbailey
I have just bought a Quad core Mac Pro and am running Logic Pro 7.2.3 When I go into the tempo list and try to change the SMPTE time it immediately goes to 00:00:00:00: and cannot be edited or changed. Does this happen in earlier versions on the Intel Mac and is there a solution. As I am a composer, working with picture, this function is pretty vital HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!! This is a well known bug on the MacIntels that Apple is aware of. Although I cannot verify this as I do not own a MacIntel I am told that the workaround is to go into Song Settings and choose the Syncronization tab. In there you will see a place to tell the song what SPMTE position 1 1 1 1 plays at. For further tempo changes you can open t6e GLobal Track called Tempo and with the SPMTE bar ruler in view add them.
