Playing two tracks at the same time?

Hi everyone, I might be being a complete idiot here! I am using an apogee Duet and I am trying to play two tracks into logic at the same time. However, in Logic when you play anything in on any track you have to have the track selected to hear it. So how do you record or play two tracks at once? i.e if you want to hear guitar and vocals from the Duet at the same time?

Do you have the tracks in 'Rec-Arm' mode?

 

The 'R' button or the 'I' button should let you hear what you are playing without having to record it.

I have got the “R” button and “I” button present on the tracks, but you still have to have the track selected to hear it, so you can only hear one at once.
