Kronk
I have an mp3 sample I imported that I need to slow down. How do I do this? Thanks
David Nahmani
Either use Audio > Adjust Region Length to locators, or double-click your Audio Region, and in the sample editor, use Factory > Time and Pitch Machine. You will first need to convert the mp3. The easiest way is to create a project folder for your new song...
stlpck
Every time I use the pitch and time machine, The audio sounds garbled. Why is that?
David Nahmani
Did you choose the proper algo first? Universal, Complex or Rythmic are your best bets. Also, it depends by how much you're trying to timestretch it. Those algos can only go so far. For serious timestretching, I recommend purchasing a 3rd party algo, like Izotope's radius.
