angelonyc
i have two instruments that shut down after a pre-determined time.. Which is good.. I wish Logic was intelligent enough to realize this.. When my Tyros 5 goes off.. I turn on after a while, (lunch, break, etc).. A sign will appear that the number of inputs/outputs have changed.. However Logic puts up a screen, that is usually buried under other windows.. and Logic will do nothing, except 'flash'.. No play, nothing in Logic works.. I tried the dock trick - where every window is displayed, but Logics audio device window is not there. I usually have to quit Logic and reboot.. Occassionally the window is on top.. I must go thru every track and re-assign to original instrument, one by one - a drag.. A program of this age an sophistication, should be able to accomodate this situation.. Eriksimon
I think the simplest solution is to turn off this "sleep" functionality on your hardware. Frankly, I don't see any advantage to it. It's just an extra opportunity for mishaps & annoyance.
