jsteinfeld
There should be a fader or slider on each audio region to adjust the gain. Sometimes it is just too inconvenient to go to the inspector to do this (and it could then be accessed when the inspector is closed). It is awesome that the waveform now adjusts with the gain changes!
sambosun
my workaround use option/alt + R (Region Inspector Float) for this and position it and save your screenset/lock your screen set. I never use the inspector only the float because editing happens in the arrange view I dont need to move the cursor far out to the left to change region related parameters. jsteinfeld
I will give that a shot - still, it would save some real estate to include an icon for this in the top right corner of the audio region (like pro tools has).

sambosun
I mean yes please I would love to have the same functionaly like Pro Tools All of these changes made using the Clip-Based Gain feature take place pre-mixer that is, before effects and levels on the channel. including the realtime updating waveform graphic like it is implemented with logic already. same is true for fades they should graphically update. You can somewhat mimic that while using REGION AUTOMATION but its not the same. The waveforms don't update.
