JLT1910
Can someone tell me how to record Logic's vocoder virtual instrument ? I have no problem getting it to play and controlling it with my midi keyboard controller while singing through the mike. But I can't seem to record the resulting audio performance to an audio track. Any help will be appreciated.
David Nahmani
Just record your audio and your MIDI on two separate tracks. That's all you need in most case, but if you want to consolidate the whole as one audio tracks, solo both channel strips and bounce.
pierrefront
..Well, nice...! Ok, that works... but there a much easier way that our dear Logic offers to us: 1-Select the Vocoder track , the one that carries the midi trigger notes.(no need to solo it) 2-do: file/export/track as audiofile (not "all tracks...", wich is another usefull option to consolidate all synth and freezed tracks) That's all ! Just insert the new audio file on a dedicated track.
