skyreacher
Hey guys it`s beginner Tim here again asking for more driving directions. How do you recording a solo acoustic guitar and get it to come through on both inputs. Okay I`ve practiced a bit and think I have the basics down on how to record a guitar and vocal, and I could probably figure this out on my own, but I gotta go to work, and when I sit down with this later tonight, I would rather be able to just do this, then to waste 20-30 minutes on this. Thanks.

If you are using one mic, it's a mono source, should get recorded to a mono channel, and that channel should be set with a centred pan control to place the mono source in the middle of the stereo mix. Make sure you are not direct monitoring in your interface, and turn on software monitoring in Logic.

Eric Cardenas
What des is saying is that you should record onto a MONO track and not stereo. Recording into a stereo track with one microphone will result in one channel with audio and the other without, which equals a hard pan.
