worm60
Lately I've been experiencing a problem in which none of my Audio instruments will play back on the load up of a song. However, as soon as I've hit play or record once after the song is loaded everything works properly until I change songs. Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem or have an idea of why this happens?
David Nahmani
Yes, unfortunately a known bug: http://logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=11629
worm60
I don't think it's the same thing. I'm not having overloads, there's just nothing getting from the imput to the instruments. If I have something already recorded then this plays back immediately. Also, I'm running 7.0.1 and I've been using it for a few years on this computer without ever experiencing this problem before. shivermetimbers
Is that only on the Audio Instruments? Does it happen with the Audio too? (Vocals, guitars)
worm60
Nope it happens to the instruments. Regular audio works fine.
tovinho
Sometimes, you play your first midi note ahead the very first beat, and when you press play from start the note event is before the first beat. Check the event list and put everything at least at 1.1.1.1. I usually begin my songs at measure 2, and it works fine. (remember to put your left locator some tricks before the measure 2 when you bounce). Hope it helps you
David Nahmani
Which instruments? I know some 3rd party plug-ins might still be loading the samples into RAM when the song first opens, and you might want to wait a little before first playing it. It's the case with BFD for example. worm60
It's been doing it to all of them I've tried, all logic instruments. It's really not the most aweful thing that could happen since it doesn't effect recording or playback, but it does make switching back and forth between songs a bit of a nuissance.
