roniron
I hear everything in headphones, led light on DI input shows it picks up from the guitar, but recording is empty... Anyone? I have Scarlett solo...
triplets
Are you getting signal in the Logic audio track?
Eric Cardenas
led light on DI input shows it picks up from the guitar, Which light are you talking about? Do you have a line box in-between the guitar and interface?
roniron
Thanks. I don't have any box between guitar and Focusrite, guitar goes to Instrument (DI) input which signals that it picks up signal (and I hear it nice in the headphones). And no, I don't have signal in Logic audio track.
roniron
Input number was not selected properly. Guitar always goes to input 2 here and mic is 1.
Eric Cardenas
So, is this resolved?
Epictetus
I'm having the exact same problem! Guitar is plugged into the INST of the Scarlett 2i4. I can hear the guitar through the headphones of the 2i4. The light around the gain control light up when it receives an input but for some reason i cannot get anything to play out of Logic Pro! There's simply no sign of any signal - Mac OS 10.14.3 - Logic Pro X 10.3.
Epictetus
Stupid Mojave. You have to grant access to 'Microphone' in the privacy settings for Logic to be able to get access to the input signal!

Yes, that's a silly one, everyone seems to get tricked by this new Mojave setting. Thanks for pointing it out, and good to hear your issue is resolved.
