shriscean
regardless of how hard i press the key(s) can i set the notes to a standard volume?
David Nahmani
Yes... what instrument are you using? Usually the best way to do this is to set your instrument not to respond to velocity. In most Logic instruments, that means bringing the two little volume sliders (corresponding to min velocity and max velocity) together. shriscean
can i change the way my notes show up on the arrange page as opposed to it just being black boxes?
Justin-Ch
Black boxes, or do you mean blank boxes? If they are blank, tick the Region Content line under the View menu. (Control,O seems to be the key command for me.) If they are black, change the colour. (Option,C should bring up the palette.)
shriscean
is it always necessary to change from the arrange page if i want to edit one note or delete one note as opposed to deleting all? i'm finding that i have to change pages to get the smallest tasks done? shriscean
is it possible to get my note to show in hyper edit form on the arrange page as opposed to musical notes?
David Nahmani
The arrange page displays a "box" or "container" called a "Region". That region contains all sorts of MIDI events, mainly notes, but also MIDI CC events. You can choose to "open" (meaning display the contents of) a region in all sorts of MIDI editors depending on the job: score editor, matrix, hyper, event list... simply select the region and choose the editor from the Windows menu.
