un installing Demo's

I wish to remove some Demo AU instruments, how is this process done?

Depends on the plug in. If it is a simple one then you just put the component file in the trash.

 

Those files are located in "your computer"/library/Audio/Plug=Ins/Components.

 

If it is more complex, see if the installer came with an uninstaller. If not an app like App Zapper may work to your advantage.
