rknowler
Hi, I know a few people on this forum own Metric Halo Mobile interfaces. In case you don't know, there's been quite a major update to the Console. The two most welcome updates for me are DAW integration DSP routing using FireWire Returns, no more cables. Eric Wikman
Good news. But since using Logic, I have not had to open Console at all. Logic's monitoring has been good for me so far, but I know I would have to use it sooner or later. When I opened it for direct monitoring in Cubase, it would bump up my output everytime. I wonder if they fixed that. They had given me a work around, but I never got to it.

shelm
MH users this is an awesome update! Many great improvements. But the big one for me is the new MIOConsoleConnect AU plugin. From MH: FireWire Returns Version 4 of the Mobile I/O software and firmware also adds an exceptional new feature to the MIO hardware family: FireWire Returns. FireWire Returns allow you to selectively route any mix or +DSP processed signal to the computer via FireWire without the use of additional external cabling. This opens up a number of exciting applications including “In the MIO mixing,” +DSP loop processing, and live, printed +DSP processing during record (while still being able to record the dry tracks simultaneously!) How it works MIOConsoleConnect is built upon exclusive Metric Halo technology that allows the MIOConsoleConnect plugin (which is available in the AU, VST and RTAS formats) to connect to Metric Halo’s MIOConsole control application. The connection provides bi-directional communication between the host and MIOConsole, allowing the host to load the complete state of your MIO system (for all the units attached to your computer) and save it automatically and completely in the session file for your project. [sWEET!] Hi, I know a few people on this forum own Metric Halo Mobile interfaces. In case you don't know, there's been quite a major update to the Console.
