southcoast71
It seems very odd that one cannot simply play a line in 6/8 and the core editor works out what 6/8 scoring is supposed to look like. One of the most used rhythms in 6/8 is dotted crochet, tied to a quaver followed by two quavers; yet it is scored as a minim and quaver rest, and I have to physically go and edit everything, which is a total waste of time. I a actually use Sibelius for scoring, but Logic is much easier for recording a piece of music, so I am using Logic to record, and then will export XML files, but Logic does not have the faintest idea of how to manage basic scoring that I'm going to have to spend time in re-editing. Also, there must be a better way than having to drag notes onto the score. Where are tied notes ? Not clearly laid out at all I have a piece of music in D flat, but when recording the piano part, it is scoring it in C.
