Rjackson87
Is it possible to assign key commands to a Kaoss Pad in the same way as with any normal Command Surface? Logic reads the midi inputs fine, I just can't work out how to assigning specific CC's to specific commands, so that any movement on the X axis (CC 12) can then be assigned to, say, Delay Feedback. The only reason that it is a problem is that I don't know how to assign a Key Command through any other way then by 'learn command' (like using a normal midi keyboard, I could then just press any note and it would learn it) This method doesn't work with a Kaoss Pad, as it seems to give out lots of additional messages, and so isolating CC 12 is the problem. Any advice? p.s CC is what the Kaoss Pad manual refers to 'it' as, and Logic shows the value in the 'Clicks and Ports' part of the Environment where, if it were a keyboard, it would show the note (i.e G3)- what does CC actually stand for?
