David Robinson
it's called latency. most computers have this feature, something like your home mortgage. reduce your buffer size in logic's prefs first. if that doesn't work, and it probably won't, use an external monitor mixer or the DSP cue mixer in your i/o if it has one. NB: tthere are some i/o's that have very, very low latency, apogee symphony is one, but it's very pricey. some users can tolerate higher latencies (and mortgages) than others - around 10ms or under is good and is doable from live also. best, david r.
