Plowman Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 This is most likely because you're trying to convert them directly from a read-only disk (DVD or CD). 1. Copy the files from the fixed media to the hard drive. 2. Right click (or CONTROL click) on the files now on the hard drive / Get Info / Ownership & Permissions / change to "Read & Write."
