bjs
Hi folks, haven't been around in quite a while, having a problem: I've recorded several takes of a piano track (EZKeys) but can not hear them. What do I need to do?
stardustmedia
I guess you mean you recorded MIDI-takes... so EZkeys doesn't playback the MIDI-region Are you sure there are MIDI-notes in the region? If you have several takes, does that mean you have a comp-region? If yes, make sure you selected a comp with MIDI notes in it. Make sure the arrangement track, where the MIDI region is, is assigned to the correct instrument track. Make sure that the MIDI notes in the region have the correct MIDI-channel (check with event list editor), resp. change the MIDI-channel in EZkeys (if that's possible). Make sure there are no MIDI control changes like volume that turn down EZkeys' volume. Delete all control changes in the event list editor. bjs
There are definitely MIDI notes in the take regions, visible in the Piano Roll. But only a couple notes play at the end of one take, probably the first. All takes were recorded as loops. No MIDI channel changes. EZKeys transmitting on All channels. No controller changes. All takes except the first are greyed-out and there is no sound for them.
