David Nahmani
Try to uncheck the "Load project manager" preference? http://www.logicprohelp.com/files/picture_1_202.png
wip
thanks! i actually found this http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=10860&highlight=updating+tree thread, and so i did. i unchecked it, quit logic, launched it again and re-checked it. it haven't popped up...yet... i just installed a 1Gig RAM chip from a Macbook Pro on my black Macbook. d'you think that can have something to do with my tree-update appearing?? i am asking this since bad hardware can provoke this message from logic. David Nahmani
I don't think it has anything to do with your RAM. I think it has something to do with the project manager. If you're not using the PM, I recommend leaving that preference unchecked, and deleting ~/Library/Preferences/Logic/PMdata
