Anyone know how to record vocals on logic?

Top Left hand corner of Logic:

Logic Pro --> Preferences --> Audio --> Drivers Tab -->

Now make sure that in the Core Audio Folder you have your M-Audio device selected as the Driver .... look for the pull down thingy that says: Driver

or more directly, under Audio > Audio Hardware and Drivers.

Once you have selected the correct driver, make sure you select the correct input on the channel you are recording to. If your mic is plugged into input one of your interface, select "input 1" on the channel input in logic. Make sure your channel is armed (click the "R" button on the track or chanel strip) now talk into your mic and you should see the level on on the channel strip.
