Erik Cordes Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 I use an external FW800 disk as a hub for my FW400 external sound card. I was having WIFI issues when the firewire disk was mounted. I created a new Location profile In the Network settings and deleted all the devices in it, except for WIFI. In this way the firewire connection is not seen as network connection when mounted and I still have a working network connection while making music.
