Nigel Mk II Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 Hi Chaps and Chapesses, i thought i would this in the main pro forum, as its a constant question anyway. a friend of mine , who never had a high opinion of motu gear, told me that the traveller is on a par with the fireface in terms of pre-amp quality, dynamics and sound quality. he now has both, so he can diectly compare. anyone got any comments / direct experience?is motu finally back in the quality game? i must say i have little experience with with motu , but most people seem to agree that motu were noisy and a bit dead-sounding compared to rme. anyway, we are gonna meet in the pub next week, he's gonna bring the rack with both units so i can check it out on cans anyway i'll let u know.
