Setting up pads/keys Akai MPK225 in Logic

Hello, 

I recently purchased a new Akai MPK225 keyboard, and I've been having difficulties setting it up with Logic Pro X. To put it simply, all i want to do is be able to have the pads on the keyboard play drum kit sounds, and still have the keyboard keys playing piano or synth. What is the easiest way to achieve this? I have tried changing the key limits for the drum kit from C1 to G1, and the piano keys from C2 to C4, but it only seems to work for the piano so the drum kit still overlaps with some of the piano keys. Also, how could I specifically choose individual drum sounds to assign to each specific pad?
