NovaAaron
I want to do a "realtime" bounce of audio. I basically want to print 3 tracks down to one track. This is what I tried: I bussed all my 3 snares to a bus. Created a new track and used the input from the bus. Set my input and It works perfectly. But what I want to do is lower the gain, and for some reason once I record it, its almost like my gain plugin is bypassed. Any help out there? ERO
Make sure the sends on all 3 snare tracks are "Post Fader," and all sent to a single bus. Adjust the levels with the faders. Then record the snare mix on the new track, using the bus as the input.
David Nahmani
It doesn't matter if the bus sends are pre or post fader if you're using a Gain plug-in. You say it's "almost" like the gain plug-in is bypassed... it should be an easy check: do one recording with the Gain set to +24 dB, another set to -96 dB. Do you hear/see a difference?
