Copy Assets to Project no longer default project setting?

Hey all,

 

Been using Logic since 2008 and haven't needed this board for years but something strange just came up in Logic 10.3.1

 

I'm used to "Project Settings -> Assets -> Copy Files to Project" being checked as my default setting. This is really important as I spend most of my time cutting interviews and radio stuff I pull from a server to a laptop that I port around and files just generally don't seem to stream well from the server.

 

Somehow this is no longer my default setting for projects. I don't recall changing a thing or doing any updates since it happened. I first noticed it when I opened a project in which I had imported some assets from an external hard drive (assuming they'd been copied to the project folder like I'm used to) and suddenly nothing was there.

 

Any thoughts?

When I first save a project, the "Copy audio files..." options is selected in the Save dialog. After I've saved my project, that option is selected under File > Project Settings > Assets.
