This is what I would like....... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 with the accent on (1) only. EX: "1" 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 "1" 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 etc Is this where you'd do that under "Custom"? "Note Value," then, is the dividend of the resulting time-signature: "1/x." --- "Note Value" is ... "what is 'one Beat?'" (One 'eighth note.') "Number of Beats" is ... "how long is a Measure?" (Eight 'eighth notes.') --- You cannot specify, neither can you control, the natural(!) subdivision of "primary" vs. "secondary" beats. If the number of beats in the measure is even, there will always be a secondary beat halfway through: "One two three four." If the number of beats is odd, there will be no secondary.
