onwu11hotmail.com
Hello Everyone, recently my EXS24 sampler has been behaving very strangely. When I opened and played a song i had been working on, sine waves were playing on the tracks my samples were supposed to be playing on. The sampler said missing #471. I shrugged it off and tried to create the samples again, but the same thing happened. I soon found out that not only had my samples been missing on that song, but all of my song in logic pro. And i can find them anywhere on my computer now. Im an extremely confused and frustrated with myself and couldnt find any solutions online. I really would appreciate if someone could help me. Thank you in advance.
ev9sej4m
Logic says missing and plays the sine wave because it can't find the sampler instrument file you are saving. It is looking for your exs24 instruments in ~/Music/Audio Music Apps/Sampler Instruments. You should save your new instrument there when you keymap your sampler instrument from the instrument menu in the exs24 edit window. The instruments you already made are probably saved somewhere on your computer. If you find them you can load them and save them in the right folder. Eriksimon
So, have you checked in Library/Application Support/Logic/EXS Factory Samples if the samples are still there? If they are, it could be that your Spotlight index (which EXS uses to find samples) is corrupted. Read thid document on how to create a fresh index: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201716
