Martin Street
I'm an admitted amateur attempting to resume using Logic X. In the past I've posted issues here with my Lexicon i-onix u42s interface with Logic 8, but up until a couple weeks ago all was working well with Logic X. But the monitor issues resumed & Lexicon support confirmed its a hardware issue with the USB. The u42s is old & has been discontinued with the latest driver working with El Capitan but Lexicon has an updated i-o 42 version with a Sierra driver. Any opinions about Lexicon, their new i-o 42 series or recommended USB MIDI interface? I like some of the features of the i-o 42 with 4 inputs, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks! David Nahmani
Presonus AudioBox is a great entry level budget interface. A good step-up from that is the RME Babyface.
