redgreenblue
Maybe it slipped by me but I didn't see anyone comment on this. The latest version of Logic Remote now supports USB connectivity. Your computer and iOS devices have to be very up-to-date but this makes me very happy. I've never felt I could rely on Logic Remote, especially on stage. I haven't tested it yet but this is getting me to finally upgrade my iMac to 10.12.
mrcrappypants
It works great. I hadn't been using Logic Remote because I turn wifi off when I'm working. I'm glad apple did this too.

JJHP3
How this work? Connect iPad with Remote to laptop, and Logic sees that? Have to use 10.12??

cjsf
I just bought an iPad 5 for use with logic remote. I don't like keeping my music machine online while working, so direct connectivity is preferred. I have OS 10.12.6, logic 10.4.4, iTunes 12.6.3, & iOS 12.1.4. I'm able to connect usb with touchOSC and Mobile Mouse, but logic remote is only working via wifi.
redgreenblue
If I recall correctly there can be issues trying to use touchOSC and the Logic Remote at the same time. See what happens if you delete the touchOSC device from Controller Setup.
cjsf
I've tried repeatedly turning off touch OSC bridge, deleting all controller profiles in logic, and starting fresh on both my tower and laptop. Touch OSC connects fine, itunes opens when the iPad connects, so there is definitely a connection. Just no love from logic remote via usb.
