YopoMusic
I have Loop Editor and also ALU. What do the people like Loopmasters who release commercial Apple Loops use do you think? I have Loop Editor 2.2.0 - but I think there is a newer version - although can't see how to update it on my version for some reason.
evan.olcott
That value next to the slider is the *playback* tempo. Use that to see what things sound like at different tempos. The tempo estimate would go into the Tempo property for the file - check the list on the right.
evan.olcott
Loopmasters just got in touch with me the other day about a license thing for Loop Editor, so it's pretty safe to assume they use it. Big Fish Audio has always been a big user too. You can always download the latest version of Loop Editor from here: https://loopeditor.aurchitect.com/downloads/LoopEditor.zip Right now it's at 2.2.

Now when I set to playback type to Looping. (FYI, why the warning message, doesn't the tempo get set in Apple Loops as well?) when I bring that file into Logic, the audio doesn't get adjusted to my 120 in Logic like other Apple Loops do. I see the Loop indicator in the loop How do I set the file in LoopEditor so the loop adjusts to the tempo in Logic? Thanks for any info. ValliSoftware
Okay, it never fails. Read the manual. So here's a video on using LoopEditor to create a Apple Loop that'll adjust to tempo changes in Logic Pro X. Finally found the replacement to the Apple Loops Utility.
