ermetic
Hi, I've a problem can not figure out how to solve it. The key command "alt+shift+up/down" to transpose notes +12/-12 in the piano roll works just if I open a separate piano roll window. If I'm in the integrate piano roll window, that show in the bottom, it doesn't work. Why? I work with the "Italian" key commands. last version of Logic X Thanks in advance for the help. David Nahmani
It works as expected here... make sure you have the key focus on the Piano Roll area (a blue frame around it) by clicking the selected note in the Piano Roll area? lostmemories
I have the exact same problem, if I open the piano roll in a separate window, I can transpose the selected notes by octave, but if I edit in the bottom editor from the main arrange window, it is impossible to transpose, even if the area is in focus. I'm using French keyboards, the internal MacBook Pro, and the bluetooth magic keyboard, the issue is occurring with both.
David Nahmani
Looks like the issue may be tied to the use of a foreign keyboard then?? ... sorry to hear, it's such a useful feature. Have you tried reporting it to Apple? ->https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro.html
Solution lostmemories Posted November 19, 2017 Solution Share Posted November 19, 2017 I found a workaround for this, modifying key command to command+shift+up/down instead of alt+shift+up/down is working, I just tested.

Thanks for the reply. I think is a bug and we should report to Apple. I did it just yet.

You should definitely report it, however I believe it's most likely a keyboard shortcut incompatibility with your localized OS X versions. But that's just a guess, so yes, report it.
