markalex905
When splitting the Main Window to access the Audio File Editor, is there a Global way to make it default to "File" rather than "Track" or is this just a "save per project" setting? Current workaround is a key command to open the Audio File Edit window.
JakobP
You could use the keycommand "Show/Hide Audio File Editor", on my system it's "W", don't remember if it's the default, I might have modified it.

I'm not sure how that's a workaround? You just answered your own question, use the key command to open the Audio File editor (W is the default, think W for Waveform). Or are you used to clicking the scissors button in the Control bar? How do you normally access the Audio File editor?

I've been double clicking the audio region. Old dog... new tricks. Thanks !
